2025/2026 was another great year for George’s Trust. We are delighted to announce that over £16,000 pounds was raised which will go towards our pledge to the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Unit in Southampton University Hospital for their planned refit of the wards, as well as funding small grant requests from local young people.
This tremendous achievement is due to all the events organised by so many people on behalf of the charity. We cannot say a big enough thankyou to all our supporters, what you do for the Trust truly makes such a difference. We are looking forward to another year of fund raising with the continued partnership of Thrings Solicitors, Romsey.
Regrettably though, the Trustees have decided to cancel this year’s popular Christmas Concert in Romsey Abbey on the 5th December due to the unexpected ill health of our Chair Jane O’Brien. Thankfully, Jane is recovering well. This has not been an easy decision to make but we are already planning next year’s Christmas Concert on 4th December 2027; we hope you save the date in your diaries.
